Dear Gasmi6786,

thank you for your report. It seems like you are trying to deploy an application from the Eclipse IDE to the emulator. When you enter the URL to the application directly inside the SDK Emulator, you can properly run it. But, when you choose "Deploy to SDK" inside Eclipse you encounter the described issue, correct ?
In this case, we would like to understand your setup a bit more. Could you please share on what system (operating system etc) you are running the SDK, whether the Eclipse IDE is running on the same system as the Emulator, whether you installed Virtualbox manually or not and if you have any active firewall or virusscanner solution that may block certain network ports on your system ? Is the SDK emulator running when you press Deploy to SDK from Eclipse ?

Please be careful not to post any detailed private information however, as this is a public forum. You can use the PM feature to send any information that you wish not to share in public.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

thank you for the information. The issue you are reporting occurs when Eclipse cannot communicate directly to the emulator. This problem could be platform specific due to some configuration of the PC, so it could be that we cannot directly fix it. However, there are some steps that you could take to see if this fixes the issue:

1. please try uninstalling the SDK and reinstalling it. Virtualbox does not have to be uninstalled. After this step please try again.
2. If this does not work, to rule out a firewall related issue is it possible to temporarily disable the firewall on your system and see if that improves the issue ?
3. With a browser on your PC, try opening "http://localhost:9221/" and see what happens in that case. I expect a message saying "Error response" to appear. If this is not the case, please indicate which message (if any) you receive from the browser.
4. Alternatively, as a last resort, please try to run the SDK on a different system.

Please let us know, thank you very much.
