Strating with the SDK

in this forum and want to start creating my own app for a Philips Smart TV. So i've downloaded the appropriate SDK (v 5.0) from this site, but it's not clear for me where Do I have to write my own HTML and Javascript code? When i start the SDK it launches a Virtual machine that's like a browser.
Can anybody help me?
